This policy explains what information KidzLense collects when you join our waitlist or use our website, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.
1. Who we are
KidzLense is operated by Malon Labs LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We are the data controller for the information described here.

About your children's information
We ask only how many children you have and their ages. We do not ask for their names, photographs, or anything that identifies them, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Our website and sign-up form are intended for parents and carers aged 18 or over.
3. Our legal basis for using it
- Consent — for sending you marketing emails and for optional analytics or advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for keeping the website working, preventing spam and abuse, and understanding in aggregate how visitors use the site.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We keep this light:
- Necessary storage — your browser stores which version of the page you saw and which market you're in, so the site stays consistent between visits. This is required for the site to work and is not used to track you elsewhere.
- Advertising and analytics — if you consent, we may use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure whether our adverts work and to show relevant follow-up adverts. Where it is switched on, the pixel also sends Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of the email address you entered, so Meta can tell that the person who signed up is the same person who saw our advert. Meta does not receive your email address in readable form. If you are in the UK or EU/EEA, we ask for your consent before any of this loads. If you decline, none of it loads and nothing is sent.
You can clear or block this at any time in your browser settings.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Ever. We share it only with the service providers who help us run KidzLense:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts our website and securely stores waitlist sign-ups.
- Meta Platforms — only if you have consented to advertising cookies. This may include a hashed version of your email address, used to measure advert performance and to build audiences for follow-up adverts. We never send Meta your children's ages or the number of children you have.
- Our email provider — to send you the emails you signed up for.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.
6. Where your information is stored
We are a United States company and our website and waitlist data are hosted on servers in the United States.
If you are in the UK or EU/EEA, this means your information is transferred outside your country. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the safeguards our providers apply, to protect it. Your rights under UK and EU data protection law still apply to us because we offer our products to people in those countries.
7. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it. If you unsubscribe, we remove your details within 30 days, apart from a minimal record needed to make sure we don't email you again by mistake.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Send you a copy in a portable format
- Stop using it for marketing (you can also click unsubscribe in any email)
- Restrict or object to how we use it
Email hello@kidzlense.com and we'll action it within one month. There is no charge.
If you're in the UK: you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you're in the EU/EEA: you can complain to your national data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
9. Security
Waitlist information is stored in private, access-controlled storage and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, but we keep what we collect deliberately minimal so there is less to protect.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you.
